The new National Occupation Classification (NOC) system will influence Express Entry eligibility. The NOC 2021 will take effect in November 2022.   • Correctional service officers; and
  • By-law enforcement and other regulatory officers;

In addition, three occupations will become ineligible, including:

  • other entertainers;
  • recreation, sport, and fitness program directors and teachers;
  • tailors, dressmakers, furriers, and milliners

These three professions will continue to be eligible for programs with broader occupational eligibility requirements, such as some streams of the Provincial Nominee Program.
